42 ceiling mount kitchen exhaust fan
First time poster here - appreciate everyone's feedback! Earlier this year we moved into a new construction home in the North East. Our kitchen includes a range hood that vents externally (wall mounted). Unfortunately the kitchen side of the house receives frequent and strong prevailing winds (we are at the slide of a hill with no wind breaks yet). When the winter winds pick up the draft from the hood is unbearable in the kitchen and brings the whole floor temperature down. It is our understan... Cooking everything before caused smoke alarms to trigger and now only when oven needs cleaning or cooking steak. Current kitchen has recirculating fan built into microwave over range. I had ceiling exhaust fan installed and I then installed solid 8" duct and roof cap. (I might replace as not high enough CFM at 110). As part of kitchen renovation, replacing over range microwave with dedicated range hood. Can I keep the ceiling exhaust and tee the duct from the range hood if both have backdr...
We have had a ceiling leak/moisture for a long time now, and we've tried everything exterior wise to try and fix it. We opened our ceiling up (no attic space) and the wood structure is wet even without it raining. My newest hope has been our bathroom exhaust fan - could it cause condensation to build up in between the ceiling and roof and cause damage? More background: our house is a 100 year old row home in Philly, it has a flat roof and no attic space. I haven't seen a pipe or area for th...
Ceiling mount kitchen exhaust fan
Hi everyone, I'm having a hard time finding something to go in a 12x12x8 cut out in the kitchen ceiling to replace an old dead exhaust fan. Can anyone recommend something that has a horizontal exhaust that would be suitable for a kitchen? All I'm finding are -110 CFM bathroom fans. 6 inch round ducting fitting would be ideal Thanks in advance! Edit: The ceiling is 8 feet and there's a switch on the wall that would be running the exhaust so a range hood with switches on it wouldn't work as y... The side exhaust port on a bathroom vent fan doesn’t give me enough room to fit a 90 degree elbow. A straight through exhaust fan would be better. Is there any difference between dedicated bathroom vent fans and standard exhaust fans? ### [Buy Now From Amazon!](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08R5J5DQ6/ref=sspa_dk_detail_1?psc=1p13NParams&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUFYVVpMSEs2VEwwVjkmZW5jcnlwdGVkSWQ9QTAxMzQyNDgxNkdaVkdWWUhVN0tZJmVuY3J5cHRlZEFkSWQ9QTA1NjAzNzQxNEdHTFM0RlNCVVJKJndpZGdldE5hbWU9c3BfZGV0YWlsMiZhY3Rpb249Y2xpY2tSZWRpcmVjdCZkb05vdExvZ0NsaWNrPXRydWU=&tag=slavasrecipes-20) About this item [4-Speed Efficient Airflow]--The 36 inch wall-mounted range hood is equipped with a powerful motor, has 4 different speeds, an...
Ceiling mount kitchen exhaust fan. Hey all, I'm in the process of creating a mining room in my house to consolidate all my rigs (they are spread out at the moment - I'm getting new circuits installed in the room to consolidate). It's a largeish room, probably about 6m x 10m with a raised ceiling in the centre. It was originally designed as a bar room - even has a bar built into it (which I need to somehow get out and sell). I've converted it into my gym and want to make it my mining room as well. The problem will be cooling, ... The upstairs bath was recently painted and includes a beautiful epoxy shower wall, new new sink and cabinetry, frameless anti-fog, LED dimmable light vanity mirror, chrome LED vanity light bar, in shower and ceiling mount exhaust fan with blue tooth speaker and LED light. The lower level bath has also been similarly updated. ### [Buy Now From Amazon!](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08R5J5DQ6/ref=sspa_dk_detail_1?psc=1p13NParams&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUFYVVpMSEs2VEwwVjkmZW5jcnlwdGVkSWQ9QTAxMzQyNDgxNkdaVkdWWUhVN0tZJmVuY3J5cHRlZEFkSWQ9QTA1NjAzNzQxNEdHTFM0RlNCVVJKJndpZGdldE5hbWU9c3BfZGV0YWlsMiZhY3Rpb249Y2xpY2tSZWRpcmVjdCZkb05vdExvZ0NsaWNrPXRydWU=&tag=slavasrecipes-20) About this item [4-Speed Efficient Airflow]--The 36 inch wall-mounted range hood is equipped with a powerful motor, has 4 different speeds, an...
